ABOUT DEHRADUN Dehradun City, in which the college is situated,is the heart of doon valley which is nestled between the magnetic Himalayas & shiwalik hills & is flanked in the east by river Ganga & in the west river Yamuna.Dehradun itself derives its name from the historical fact that Shri Guru Ram Rai ji ,son of 7th Sikh Guru Shri Har Rai ji ,set up his “Dera” (comp) in “Doon” (valley). Dehradun is a major tourist destination, besides being capital of uttarakhand state.
