Programs

The college offers the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Program.

The B.Ed. program is a 1-year degree course which leads to Trained Teacher Status (TTS).  This is an ideal option for those who wish to make an impact as teachers, educational leaders, school administrators, school counselors, etc.

Program Description

The program emphasizes supervise student learning and has defined and designed sequence of professional coursework drawing on some of the best in current and historical educational thought and practice.  It draws on educational aspects of psychology as well as exploring the philosophy and history of education to provide students with an understanding of the teaching methodologies which underpin current educational thinking and practice. 

The course emphasizes intensive, guided experience in a variety of classrooms to foster among students the habits of critical reflection, learning from practice, engagement with fundamental ideas and processes in the field of education.

Significantly, the course incorporates subject-area-majors that prepares the graduates to accomplish what is expected of them—the skills to handle the subject they plan to teach.
