B.Sc Part I, II and III
A student will select one of the following subject combinations:-
Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics (CPM)
Chemistry, Botany & Zoology (CBZ)
Chemistry, Botany & Geology (CBG)
Physics, Mathematics & Geology (PMG)
Chemistry, Geology & Zoology (CGZ)
Zoology, Botany & Geology (ZBG)
Physics, Mathematics & Statistics
Physics, Mathematics, Defence & Strategic Studies.
Physics, Mathematics & Geography
Economics, Mathematics, Defence & Strategic Studies
Botany, Zoology and Defence & Strategic Studies
Optional : Students can also study either General Hindi or General English as one of the General Courses, first paper of which will have to be cleared in B.Sc. I and Second Paper in B.Sc II.
Compulsory : Paper of Environmental Studies will be compulsory for all students of B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Sc. (AG) part II
Note : Intermediate with Geology is not required for studying it as one of the subjects in B.Sc. I
M.Sc. Chemistry
Previous : Student will select either Physical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry as one of the two special courses. Only those candidates who have passed B.Sc. with Maths are considered for admission to M.Sc. (Final) Physical Chemistry.
Previous : Five Papers.
Final : Six Papers.
M.Sc. Physics
Previuos : 6 compulsory papers
Final : 4 compulsory and 2 optional papers
M.Sc. Mathematics
Previuos : 4 compulsory and 1 optional papers
Final : 3 compulsory and 1 optional papers and viva voce
Bridge Course
The candidates who have passed two years degree course can join B.A./B.Sc. III year which will be called Bridge Course for them. Such candidates will be eligible for Post Graduate Studies only after passing the Bridge Course.
Innovative Programmes
(a) Foundation Course in English (Subject to availability of staff)
(For B.Sc. Part I students only)
The B.Sc Part I students who passed Intermediate examination in Hindi medium can join foundation course in English writing and conversation. The concerned classes will be held on Sundays for 3 hours. The course will be spaced over 5-6 Sundays.
(b) Preparatory classes for competitive examinations:
Classes to help the students prepare for competitive exams and for entrance to professional courses like Engineering, Medical, N.D.A. etc. are proposed to be started.
Notes :
1. As per university notification M.Sc. students shall be allowed to appear in only those optional papers which are taught in the college.
2. Applications for casual admissions of those who are eligible to appear as ex-students will be considered only if seats are available.
3. Separate application form for each subject must be submitted for being considered for admission to more than one subject.
